What do I plan to do over break

Aouthers note: This is what I plan to do over break

I most likely sleep all day because I don’t  sleep before school so that sounds kinda nice.

Also I have to go pick up my step brother from Chicago and that will be nice to see him. Hes really funny and a good guy to be around.

What I want for Cristmas

    What I what for Christmas is not my two front teeth. Nor a hippopotamus. I would really like a mini fridge for my room. The reason why, well i would be able to enjoy  and to have sodas in there so I wouldn’t have to go out side to get them. Also no one could steal my drinks that I buy, and I would take ones that I’m not suppose to. I know it maybe hard to fit it in but I’ll make it work trust me.The price it costs is  nothing compared to having me run up and down the stairs with an open soda. Plus I will by my own soda so you don't have to. It would teach me some responsibility. So thats the number 1 thing I what for Christmas this year.

Favorite Movie

Shooter

My favorite my movie is called Shooter, it begins when Bob Lee Swagger and his friend Donnie Fenn are providing Sniper support for the squad in the USMC. When his team is about to get over run,They tell them to fall back as the pick off the enemy. Then a Heilo comes out and shoots his Spotter Donnie Fenn. He pulls out a Barret .50 cal and takes out the heuy. As he turns to see his friend in his final moments of life.

15 years later

As he lives in a remote part of Wyoming and hunts for his own food. Untill one day he is visted by some strange people saying that they have intel that the president will be assinated at one of these cities. So he leaves his home to try and the killer and were he is going to take the shot from. When he figures out that were the killer will be. So he  tell the people and sets up a place to sniff he out, but hes to later and the president is missed by mer inches. The people tell the FBI that hes the killer...

The reason why this is my favorite movie is because it has loads of action in it and many twists and turns. I also like how the actor were serious but also very humors at the same time. Also I think the special effects in this move were better than any other. The sound was amazing it made you fell like you were right there. This isn’t a good action movie it’s a great one

Lost on an Island

Authors  note:I choose my story because if I was stuck on an Island this is how I see it would play out

    “Uggg I have a massive head ache... wait where am I”? When I got up I realized that I was on an Island and that  everyone on the plane I was on were dead or dying. I steaded myself up and walked to the body of the aircraft. I found a survival kit containing the following, Flare Gun, Hunting Knife, Rifle and a Radio that was hopelessly old and was cracked. I gingerly walked to the co-pit and tried to get on the radio but that was broken to. The plane was useless because it was covered in jet fuel witch is highly toxic just to be even near so sleeping in the aircraft was useless. So looks I’ll need to find alternative shelter.

    After about 40mins of searching the jungle I to refuge in a giant tree that was full of moneys. When I awoke I grab the rife and went hunting. Not the first time I fired a gun but I’m certainly no expert. I managed to kill a lion witch was no easy task. I had food for aleast a day but was scared out of my mind and missed my wife and kids. I knew though that giving up would mean I was defeated. I would never let that happen, but I think its about too. Just then a heilo came out from no where i grab the flare gun fired. The US Navy  roped down. I know a lot of people died but one lived to tell the tail.

Hostages in School?

Aurthers Note ; I wrote about this because my friends chose this topic. This is how I image it would play out  

 “So students as you can see doing algebra is very...” “Every one freeze. Get on the ground”. Ugghhh another joke I suppose I said to my self. Ha my surprise when I was staring down the barrel .44 caliber handgun. “I said get on the ground”. That woke my up for sure. Before I could get on the ground was bashed in the head with a Heavy Duty Assault Rifle and that’s the only thing I remember. “Hey... Hey”! I jumped awake. I awoke with a jump and figured out that i was still in school. “Good he’s awake” said a tall man. “Will need him”.

We I woke up I found my self bleeding obviously I was shot. I pushed my self up and saw my friend Bo was in a chair with the invaders talking to him. He didn’t look to well but i probably shouldn’t be talking. Then a hand gun had fallen out of one of their pockets and they didn’t n notice it I crawled to the weapon and aimed down the sights. I was  about to pull the trigger and take them all down but the closest man saw me and knocked me out again.

When I awoke I heard shouting and then the police yelled “We have you surround come out with your hands up”.  “Never, leave or we kill the boy” Then Bo eyes opened like doors he was awake now. I looked down in my hands and saw the gun was still there. I once again pushed myself up and bang, bang, bang, bang. Threats  eliminated and that is truly The last thing I remember.

Project 17

Authors Note:I worte this paper on this book because i though it was one of the best books I've ever read.

 Being in a haunted house for some people in a nightmare even though they are only for 30 minutes. Imagine being in there for over 12 hours and its not a haunted house either it’s a mental asylum. In the book Project 17 Deriek and his friends going in this asylum. That’s locked down and going in is illegal. So they have to sneak past a squad of police to enter the asylum. Once they are in its a nightmare they never wanted.

The author Laurie Faria Stolaz based this on a true story were her and her friends tried to sneak in to a asylum but they backed out. This is how she imagined it would happen. The main characters are Deriek, Mini, Chet, Tony, Greta and Lisa each has there on different opinion on if they should be in this place. For example Lisa always says”Guys I really don’t think we should be here”. I like how the author described each of the characters. Each was different for example Mini likes spiders and Greta is terrified of them” That was one of many good things I like about how she wrote this book. Her introduction was good, also i really like how she ended. The reason why they are in this twisted place is because Deriek is trying to get a job as a camera man at a reality show so he dragged his in to be his actors. Otherwise he is stuck to work in his family dinner.

The only thing I would have change in the book is the language, some of the paragraphs and the story line  Not that they were poorly wrote but that  the scene it paint in your head. That made it weired at certain points and mostly unnecessary. The same with the language. She abused the swear words, writing one almost every sentence.Also with the story line. She used different characters to give you different points of views on each scenario that was unfolding. It was a good idea and used well but at times I got lost and found my self going back multiple pages to understand. 
Other than that it was a wonderful book, very funny and well wrote. I would recommend this to a friend or family member.

Authors note; the reason I wrote what wrote is because it think it’s disrespectful to not be proud of the country you live (quote in third paragraph is from the deck of the U.S.S Midway in San Diego)     

                Yes I’m proud of my country and I’ll always be. I mean if you’re not why are you still living here then?  I can name at least twelve people that I know that are or were in the military. So you’re not proud of them.  If we didn’t have brave those men and women that defend our country, neither I nor you would be here right now. How can you be not proud of that?  I believe that if you aren’t proud of America you should at least be proud of the men and women who defended it.

                Sure we have been wars but name one country that hasn’t. Yes we did kill many Japanese Civilians with the Atom Bomb but they killed a lot of our soldiers/civilians in the bombings of Pearl Harbor. Again on 9/11 we were attacked and we when in to war several thousands were kill and we were criticized for kill some of their civilians in the mission and we get criticized for it. Why? Yeah are government is have a rough time but whose isn’t right know.  At least were not totally out of money not yet at least.

                When America was started we were under rule from the British Government.  We fought a war for freedom, a bunch of farms and country man stood up to empire much larger than ours and we fought back. Our freedom has been challenged over the years but the brave men and women fought back. In every war we fought “all gave some, some gave all”. So to the people who are still not proud of this country. I would like you to go up to someone who has lost a family member or a close friend and say “I’m not proud of this country” How bad would feel then?

                I not saying you need to be a full blown patriot by you at least need to proud of this country. It doesn’t need to be a lot just enough to make people around you proud of America and people around them proud and so on and so forth. God Bless America.

Pittsburgh Pirates

Author's Note;I worte this beacuse I hate to see a great franchise like the Pirates to fall beacuse they can't afford to bring in the star power.

Even though the Pittsburgh Pirates have won many games, they have not had a winning season since 1992. They have also had low attendance at all them games. They try to bring in crowds by have bring your dog to the game and many other special guests. They would lower ticket prices so that you could sit in the front row for only $50. I believe that it is possible to have a small market team win even if no one’s there to see it.

Whoever that a baseball teams as bad as the Pittsburgh Pirates were one day a championship wining team that could topple the Yankees at their prime, but first let’s go back before all the losing seasons. Past the Roberto Clemente and the Willy Mays year all the way back to the year 1882 when there were no phones TVs and computers. The success of the team started early winning the National League three consecutive times from 1901 to 1903. They also played in their first world series ever in 1903 and won their first world series behind one of baseballs all time greats Houns Wanger in 1909. So if there were this good early on. How come they’re falling apart?

Even in the early 60’s to the late 80’s they were dominating. Winning the 1960 World Series on a walk-off homer by Bill Mazeroski, and 1971 they repeated there dominates with another one behind Roberto Clemente who also was the first Hispanic inducted in to the baseball hall of fame .That world series he also the first Hispanic to win the World Series MVP. Once more the won the World Series in 1979 this time behind Wille “Pops” Stargle.  After winning three World Series in two decades they roared in to the 80’s felling like they were on top of the world by some of their stars Roberto Clemente had died in a plane crash. Wille only stayed around only for two more years, so the Pirates had things to worry about.

The 80’s went quickly with no star power they were considered the worst team in baseball even having a young Barry Bonds (Before Steroids he was a good player). Also they hired a new manager Jim Leyland he turned them around quickly leading to an 85-75 year which is not good but great for them.  One day though they reached their low point by far, they became the first team in major league to score ten runs in the first inning and lose to their rivals the Philadelphia Phillies only to have this record broken by themselves many, many, many times. They limped in to the 1990, but they stepped up their game to win the three first division championships in 1990, 1991 and 1992 but all three times they were stopped short. After 1992 the collapse had begun year after year no playoff appearances. The only close thing was in 1997 when they finished in second place in the NL Central and they had a losing year even then! Now a day the stands are empty and so is their win column. At the All-Star break they were in the lead by 5 games but in true pirate fashion they chocked and now they are tied for 4^th in the central.

Even though they have a budget of a small team they have the heart of that any huge market team could only wish for. It is important to believe in your team even if they only have enough money to napkin holder.
